Welcome, Dominic (Dom) Papa, the new Senior Director of Phoenix Community Alliance (PCA)!\n\nPapa has served previously on our Board of Directors and brings a well-established connection to our organization and mission. He also received PCA's inaugural Center City Newcomer Award in 2020, which honors individuals making a rapidly growing impact on Greater Downtown Phoenix.\n\nHe comes to PCA with a unique knowledge of governance and how public-private partnership opportunities enhance city initiatives. Before joining PCA, Papa held leadership roles with the Arizona Commerce Authority, Amazon Web Services, and, most recently, the N50 Project.\n\nHis background aligns perfectly with our basic pillars of advocacy. It's a full circle moment for PCA, and we're excited to have him on our team!

We look forward to seeing you at the Wednesday, August 20 Warehouse District Council (WDC) meeting hosted by the Courtyard Residence Inn by Marriott. \n\nThe @UrbanPhoenixProject is presenting a detailed analysis of traffic collisions involving pedestrians and bicycles in the neighborhood, and the safety benefits of a 3rd St. bikeway. Lastly, stick around for updates on the 24-hour Heat Respite Center at 20 W. Jackson Street, operated by the @CityofPhoenixAZ's Office of Homeless Solutions. \n\nAfterward, attendees are encouraged to check out Little Rituals, located on the Courtyard's fourth floor, where WDC will offer complimentary cocktails. At the 19th annual Spirited Awards, Little Rituals was named the Best Hotel Bar in the U.S., so you don't want to miss this!
