We love evolving representation in the community! 🚀

Fair Trade Cafe (@fairtradecafeaz) founder and owner Stephanie Vasquez (@stephanie_azftc) was recently featured in @azbigmedia's round-up of the Most Influential Minority Business Leaders in Arizona.

For leaders like Vasquez, Latina women only represent 4.3% of leadership positions. Still, the article spotlights the resources Vasquez and her peers are bringing to the table to empower the next generation of leaders.

One of those initiatives is Vasquez's E.L.L.A (Empowering Latina Leaders in Arizona) organization, which supports the growth of new leadership.

But Latina business leaders aren't the only people on this list - below is a list of the other PCA Members featured in this round-up:

🔴 Ann Ching, Clinical Professor of Law, @ArizonaStateUniversity
⚒️ Mike Gonzalez, Vice President, McCarthy Building Companies (@McCarthyBuild)
💧 Erika Castro, Supply Diversity Program Manager, @SRP
💧 Karla Moran, Principal Economic Development Analyst, @SRP
🌈 Carla Vargas Jasa, President & CEO, Valley of the Sun United Way (@myvsuw)

To read the digital article and full list, visit our 🔗 in bio!

Soon, you can step into a different world at the Arizona Science Center (@azscience)! 🌎

In early 2025, their five-story Dorrance Planetarium will reopen with a highly impressive technological upgrade. 📽️

The new 8K+ resolution screen will be a spherical dome, measuring almost 60 ft. in diameter, wrapping around the audience for an immersive screening experience, including state-of-the-art spatial audio. The Science Center is only the third museum in the world to use the new Cosm's LED CX System, following auditoriums in Prague and Fort Worth.

Since the Planetarium first opened in 1997, the theater has welcomed more than two million guests.

What's the most memorable screening you've had at the Dorrance Planetarium?

Meet our YLAI friends! 👬 🤝

Last Thursday, organizations across Phoenix welcomed 14 entrepreneurs from Central and South America and the Caribbean for the 2024 Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), organized by Member Global Ties Arizona (@globaltiesaz).

@DowntownPhoenix and Phoenix Community Alliance (PCA) are lucky to host one of these exceptional entrepreneurs! 💙 Throughout March, they'll shadow our organizations and meet select retail Members to hear successful business practices to replicate in their communities.

As part of the initial orientation, DTPHX Ambassador Ron gave the entrepreneurs a walking tour of

The Phoenix Community Alliance (PCA) table just got a little bit bigger! 💙

During our Board of Directors meeting at the start of March, three additional directors were appointed to the board by its current makeup of director-level Members:

💵 Dillan Knudson, Head of Commercial Banking, Western Alliance Bank
💉 Dylan Moore, VEN Centers Manager, Arizona Liver Health (@azliverhealth)
🏫 Beth Smith, Senior Director, Marketing & Communications, University of Arizona College of Medicine (@uazmedphx)

With representatives in banking, healthcare, and education, the new directors represent a strong slate of local voices that will steer our organization in the right direction.
