Join us for a week-long commemoration of World AIDS Day. This is an opportunity for us to recognize those who have passed away as well as those who are thriving. Join us for one of or all 4 events!
Sunday, December 1st – 6pm: Remembering Prayer Vigil & viewing of AIDS Quilt – This evening program will consist of prayers, stories, and candle lighting.
Friday, December 6th – 6pm: Quilts, Cards, & Movies – We’ll be making Red Cranes, Red Ribbon pins, and holiday cards to send to those families impacted by AIDS.
Monday, December 9th -7pm: Salon.2 History & Storytelling – Pastor James and community storytellers will share important history of when AIDS first appeared while filling our hearts with personal stories.
Wednesday, December 11th – 6:30pm: Remembering & Sending Off – This contemplative service includes a lot of quiet time, meditation, light music and action on how to keep stories alive.
