We invite you to save the date for a PCA Social & Housing Advancement Committee Forum:
Reframing the Conversation: Creating a Path Forward for the Human Services Campus and Downtown Community Stakeholders
While PCA was founded originally to help advance the revitalization of Downtown and Central Phoenix, it has always championed placemaking and social infrastructure as well. It is clear that a great city is more than a collection of great buildings. It is the same commitment that led to the creation of the Human Services Campus (HSC) nearly 15 years ago.
Today, we are faced with an unfair situation: growing homelessness, maintaining safe and equitable neighborhoods, and recognizing this issue requires all parts of a great city to be involved. Through the platform of our Social and Housing Advancement Committee, it is time again for PCA to step forward and bring people together to solve tough problems. Especially when the issue is not agreement on the problem; the issue is not agreeing on what to do about it. Join us for the first of what may be a few dialogues on recommitting our city to the social infrastructure of homelessness and supportive housing.
