PCA CCPD State of Downtown Housing
Thursday, April 16 @ 12:00 am - 05:00 pm
Twenty years ago, Downtown Phoenix barely registered on the national housing map. Today, more than 15,000 housing units have been built in the urban core since 2000 — with over 11,000 delivered since 2015. That's not a trend. That's a transformation.
On April 16, Phoenix Community Alliance's Central City Planning & Development Committee invites you to hear that story directly from the developers, architects, and housing experts who helped make it happen — and to join a forward-looking conversation about what comes next for Downtown housing, homeownership, and policy.
The event will feature:
- A panel of Downtown's most experienced housing voices sharing personal stories and market data spanning two decades of development
- A presentation of PCA's resident and employee survey findings — revealing what people who live and work Downtown actually want and need
- A look at Downtown Phoenix Inc.'s Digital Twin, a 3D visualization of Downtown's development evolution, exclusively available to PCA Members
- A forward-looking conversation on the condo defect law, middle housing, and the policy changes needed to unlock the next chapter of Downtown homeownership
