Phoenix Community Alliance Has Spent 40 Years Working To Create a Stronger Downtown for a Better Phoenix

Now back, bigger and stronger! \ud83d\udc99 \ud83d\udcaa \n\nIn recent weeks, several of our legal firm Members, which include Lewis Roca (@lewis.roca) and Sherman & Howard (@shermanhowardlaw), have merged with other firms to combine and strengthen the services their respective teams provide to their clients.\n\nMore about these mergers is below:\n\n\ud83d\udc9b When the offices of Lewis Roca and Womble Bond Dickinson (@wbd_us) combine into the latter, the merger expands Womble's presence in our Southwest region and, in turn, brings a desired international presence to Lewis Roca that the firm has desired. The merger creates a \"powerhouse firm\" of more than 1,300 attorneys in the United States and the United Kingdom.\n\n\ud83d\udc99 In late September, Sherman & Howard announced a merger with Taft (@taft_law), a law firm with a non-headquarter operating approach. Over the years, both firms absorbed other law offices to expand their reach into other markets in the Mountain West and Midwest. The mergers of a collective of 17 markets create a presence in 10 states, staffed by more than 1,000 attorneys. In recent years, Taft, a middle market firm, has been recognized with multiple accolades and as the nation's fastest-growing law firm by Am Law 100.\n\nThese mergers will take effect beginning on January 1, 2025.
