Kids in Focus: 11th Annual Exhibit Opening

Each Spring we host our inspiring Exhibit Opening, a free and family-friendly event at which you will meet some of the kids we serve while viewing their photographs and enjoying food and live music. The 2022 event was our biggest yet, with about 500 people in attendance to celebrate the accomplishments of these amazing kids.
ABOUT THE EXHIBIT
The annual Exhibit Opening features kids who participated in the Afterschool Programs. With local photographers as their mentors, vulnerable kids spent 9-weeks exploring their world through the lens of a camera, building trusting relationships, and gaining valuable life skills. This inspirational exhibit represents the culmination of their life-changing journeys of self-discovery. At this very special event, the kids’ self-confidence takes flight and their creative sparks are turned into flames as they receive recognition and appreciation from the hundreds of supporters who are in attendance.
Reprints of the kids photographs will be available for purchase along with beautiful hard-cover books of the entire exhibit.
We encourage you to have each of the kids sign your book. It will make their day and will provide you a fabulous addition to your coffee table.
