The Phoenix Community Alliance (PCA) launched in 1983, by local, iconic business leaders began with one big idea, to create a dynamic downtown for a great 21st century city, Phoenix!

Economic vibrancy and quality of life were at the top of PCA’s to do list. Twenty-six years later, our organization is proud of being a significant part of the many accomplishments achieved for downtown and in central Phoenix. No task has been too large or too small for our proactive members. In addition, over and over again our members enthusiastically take on those tough, long-term urban challenges. We do not work alone, but work as collaborators with our public partners and all stakeholders.

Yet, our work is not complete and today we face new economic and other challenges. We need to continue to move quality development forward and to work toward and use appropriate new tools like Urban Form Zoning and creative financing solutions to incite new development and industry. We are committed to drawing upon resources; to making connections, physical, social and economic, and to continuing our work as a catalyst. We are incubating the Discovery Triangle Corporation; we are supporting the emerging Health & Bioscience industry and working with a new, young business leaders to carry on our mission for generations to come, and to doing much more!

What we need are passionate leaders with considerable imagination, cooperation and resources committed to making Phoenix great! Please join us! You won’t be disappointed and be prepared to roll up your sleeves. We need your help!
