 We have learned that it is one thing to admire a city where the character of its urban core has long been determined; where most of the hard decisions have already been made; where the contours of its skyline and substance of its neighborhoods offer the comfort of a clear identity. It is quite another thing to share in the day to day struggles that precipitate the metamorphosis from an ordinary city to a great city. It takes tremendous energy and imagination to build a great city. Phoenix has to be more than streets and structures. It has to engage the spirit, hopes, and dreams of its people. The Phoenix Community Alliance is the major private sector catalyst dedicated solely to the revitalization of Greater Downtown Phoenix. This is our mission. We will gather the resources and work to build this great city, Phoenix! |
